What the Station Bill says:

CAPTAIN: Maneuver vessel. Direct deckhand to prepare and drop anchor

DECKHAND: Prepare anchor and line. Drop anchor and adjust scope as directed by captain.

Things to consider:

• Passenger’s should be calmly instructed to move into an area away from the anchor line.
• The deckhand MUST ensure that they are clear of both line and chain before deploying the anchor.
