What the Station Bill says:

CAPTAIN: Calm passengers and direct deckhand to attempt to extinguish fire by best means. Continue to nearest ferry dock while notifying the Harbor Patrol & USCG. When moored direct passengers to calmly disembarkand leave the dock area. Continue to fight fire or wait for Fire Dept. assistance as appropriate.•

DECKHAND: Alert the captain. Calm passengers and direct them away immediate area of fire. Attempt to extinguish the fire as directed by the captain. If not immediately extinguished prepare passengers to calmly disembark when moored. Clear all passengers onlookers from the dock area. Continue to fight the fire or wait for Fire Dept. assistance as directed by captain.•

The most likely fire is under auto hood or a trash can fire (use dry chemical extinguisher). An engine compartment fire is also likely (use CO2 flooding). A large, out of control fire may require that abandon ship procedures be used.
